We have another opportunity for a discounted night at the 76ers. If you’re interested, here’s the details…Tuesday Feb 16th – 7 pm game vs. Miami…Everyone purchasing at least 5 tickets to the game will automatically get one spot in the Away high-five tunnel for a child (ages 5-14 years old)….Tickets are $30 for lower level and $15 for Mezzanine Level….We’ll be having another adults game on the floor after the 76ers game. Before the adult game begins, all kids there will be invited onto the court to have their picture taken at mid-court – on the 76ers logo!…You can purchase any of the following group amenities (see below). If you’re interested in ordering them, please send the money with your ticket order. Please mail your order ASAP along with payment (payable to Philadelphia 76ers) to Maureen Hohman, 34 Greenleigh Drive, Sewell, NJ 08080….Group Amenities - The Sixers offer groups of 20 or more the option to add on select amenities with the purchase of their tickets….Each amenity is only $6.00 per person and available for any home game. Vacant Basketball Board Positions
There are currently two OPEN Basketball Board Positions – if interested please email sports resume to wtbasketball@comcast.net.
Vice Commissioner – Voting Position - Duties include filling in for the Commissioner when he/she is unavailable. General responsibilities include overseeing the annual picture weekend, coordinating with Parks and Recreation to order shirts and trophies for all star and playoff competitions in appropriate leagues, acting as the liaison for the program’s email accounts and responding to the various requests, coordinating the annual sign-ups each season, and providing guidance to other league directors when and where appropriate. In addition, the Vice Commissioner will oversee the “waiting list” and “replacement player” assignments as they occur throughout the season.
League Coordinator – Boys and Girls Clinic (5 & 6 year olds) Non-Voting Position - Intramural League Coordinators will be responsible for running their respective divisions with main areas of responsibility to include selecting coaches, coordinating practice, game and playoff schedules, conducting “new player” sessions and assisting with travel team selections, interacting with school officials and parks and recreation personnel, handling general issues as they relate to their respective leagues, and ensuring that all by laws and general administrative tasks are adhered to throughout the basketball season. Attendance at monthly basketball advisory board meetings is encouraged but not required unless specifically requested.

It is MANDATORY that all WTPR Basketball Coaches, Assistants or Parent-Helpers be MEGAN’S LAW certified to coach in our 2009- 2010 season. Don’t put it off. Get certified now before the season starts. It doesn’t cost you a thing; it’s free of charge.
